Did anyone see that show last night where women brought there fiance's on stage to ask them to marry?
I just got to say...WHAT BULLSHIT..*L*...but I couldnt help but watch it..thinking all the time that this is so stupid...and not to mention the humor I found in it..

These women had to know there was something in it for them...that trip they all got...they had to know that was coming...

Although Im thinking they would of gotten more fame after the fact had they been turned down on national television...

I wonder where these people come from..They are soooo pathetic....It was funny though..*G*

i think the Jerry Springer show proves just how desperate some people are for their 15 mins of fame, and the "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire" fiasco shows that sometimes it pays off! *G

American trash culture (viewed as an outsider) seems obsessed with voyeuristic confessions and public displays of guilt or anger.The Jerry Springer show is a variety act but those other self righteous chat shows like Oprah make me want to be phisically sick, everybody seems to have a problem and they feel EVERYBODY needs to hear it.

The worst aspect is that English television companies know that this crap gets good ratings from bovine, couch potatoes so they are churning that crap out over here now.

Yeah their shows may be terrible, but Oprah is filthy rich, and jerry is rich as well.

So no matter how much you hate their shows...they're sitting in their million dollar houses. that's what's great about America. I wouldn't mind being insulted for having a trash show...i'd laugh all the way to the bank or however that saying goes.

and if any of you had the opportunity to be the host of jerry's show you'd jump at it...don't lie.

yeeeeeeeeeeup, i dont miss it much either......my kids watch their shows and if i sit down and there arent any good films on, which is most times, except for the Independent Film Channel and Bravo, then i'll just leave on VH1 or MTV
